I was having severe discomfort in my knee so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kanz. I had met him a few years prior when I went to an appointment with my mom to discuss her knee replacement/tibia rod surgery. He was extremely compassionate, took time to discuss the pro/cons and answered any questions we had concerning her upcoming surgery. Dr. Kanz was/is highly knowledgeable and exceptionally dedicated to his patient’s care. I trusted him so after my appointments and MRI, I scheduled my surgery.

I had a partial meniscectomy and was pleased with the entire process and experience.This was my first surgery and first time having anesthesia. I was worried how I would do upon arriving, as I have extremely high anxiety, but walking through the front doors, being taken back to prep and waking up in recovery, I felt completely comfortable. The nurses were so warm and welcoming and I was able to talk with Dr. Kanz, meet the anesthesiologist, and the surgical team before I was rolled back, which eased my mind and reassured me that I was in safe hands. I was treated with such exceptional care, kindness and respect and that made such a huge impression!

I am forever grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Kanz, his entire staff at SA City Orthopaedics, who are phenomenal to work with, and the staff at Legent Orthopedic & Spine Hospital for creating a professional, caring and friendly atmosphere.
