Comments: I wish to express my deep appreciation to Dr. Brian Kanz and the staff at Legent Orthopedic + Spine Hospital San Antonio. The care I received was exceptional! I was having severe discomfort in my knee so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kanz. I had met him a few years prior when I went to an appointment with my mom to discuss her knee replacement/tibia rod surgery. He was extremely compassionate, took time to discuss the pro/cons and answered any questions we had concerning her upcoming surgery and rehab. Dr. Kanz was and is highly knowledgeable and exceptionally dedicated to patient care. I trusted him and after all my initial appointment and MRI, I schedule my surgery. I had a partial meniscectomy yesterday (April 10, 2024) and was very pleased with my experience. I have extremely high anxiety and was severely worried how I would do upon arriving. This was my first surgery and first time having anesthesia. From walking through the front doors, being taken back to prep and waking up in recovery, I felt completely comfortable. The nurses were so warm and welcoming and I was able to talk with Dr. Kanz and meet the anesthesiologist the entire surgical team before I was even rolled back, which eased my mind and reassured me that I was in safe hands. I was treated with such exceptional care, kindness and respect and that made such a huge impression! I am forever grateful and would highly recommend Dr. Kanz, his entire staff at SA City Orthopaedics, who are phenomenal to work with, and the staff at Legent Orthopedic & Spine Hospital for creating a professional and friendly atmosphere. A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone that crossed my path during this surgery and made me feel more like family than just another patient. ❤️
